Oriented Strand Board (OSB) is an engineered wood product manufactured by compressing wood flakes with adhesives in a specific, layered orientation. We specialize in Oriented Strand Board, Domestic Southern Pine, as well as Douglas Fir and Imported plywood. We trade all grades including Agency Cert, Rated Sheathing, Underlayments, Sidings, and Sanded Panels. We also trade off grade panels including mill cert, culls, shop/reject and blows.

Oriented Strand Board
OSB, Oriented Strand Board, in an engineered wood panel used for structural and many other industrial applications.

Southern Pine Plywood
Southern Pine Plywood is a manufactured wood panel made by gluing together plywood veneers.

Doug Fir Plywood

Since our beginnings in 2004, we have built lasting business relationships with our domestic and international suppliers, enabling us to offer each of our customers a personalized service and a diverse range of products to meet their needs. These products are sold directly to manufacturers and retailers in Canada and the United States.
Among these products are Russian Birch plywood, blockboard panel, laminated glued post and, most recently, our glulam scaffold plank. Our products are intended for a variety of uses, such as manufacture of engineered wood flooring, staircase, furniture, kitchen and bathroom cabinets, coffins, aircraft, aeronautics, wooden boxes for packing and shipping, drawer sides, wood reels, architectural woodwork , construction including formwork and scaffolding.

STARR-LAMTM scaffold plank, made of black spruce and pine from the boreal forest, is assembled with structural finger joints and the lamellas are bonded with an exterior-type adhesive. Streply Temperate Hardwood Plywood – Main Image
Our popular Streply® range of high quality, reliable commercial plywood products appeals to a wide range of specialist end user and merchant customers. Streply® is manufactured by the South House Woods Group in Eastern China and distributed exclusively in the UK by Falcon Panel Products.

Streply® plywood has no tropical timber content, using 100% temperate hardwood for core and face content, sourced responsibly from indigenous Chinese growers.

Streply® is independently audited to ensure compliance with the European Union Timber Regulation (EUTR) on legal timber sourcing and is manufactured using an EN 314-2 Class 2 rated glue bond. Bond performance is regularly tested by UK accredited laboratories to ensure it meets the requirements of the Construction Products Regulation.

Streply® is also tested for use in structural applications in 9mm and thicker sections as defined in EN 13986: 2004.

Streply® Range
Streply® B/BB Premium Plywood
Our Streply® Premium range combines a 100% temperate hardwood throughout core with attractive light pink colour-fast Engineered Veneer (EV) faces. The single piece face veneer is thicker than previous tropical options, which results in an attractive and even surface, which is split-free.

Streply® Premium is available in all major thicknesses and is favoured by joinery and specialist end user customers who can cut and machine the product with confidence due to the high quality solid core construction. A reliable EN 314-2 Class 2 glue bond ensures it is suitable for almost all joinery applications.

Streply® B/BB Select Plywood
Streply® Select is a firm favourite with our merchant customers. It offers the same attractive light pink EV faces, well constructed tight core and EN 314-2 Class 2 glue bond as the Premium product, but with a lighter weight temperate hardwood content.

Streply® Oversize Plywood
To complement our main range, we also offer Streply® in larger 3050 x 1220 and 3050 x 1525 sizes, in most common thicknesses. Streply® oversize plywood offers the same high-quality light pink face veneers as the standard size product. This allows our joinery and manufacturing customers to buy both standard and oversize Streply® products with matching faces to suit their cut size machining requirements, knowing that they can rely on the high quality core construction and face veneer common to both ranges.

Streply® B/BB Prime Plywood FSC®
Whilst all Streply® products comply fully with the regulatory requirements of EUTR, Streply® Prime FSC® offers the additional assurance of full Chain of Custody environmental certification.

Streply® Prime is a 100% FSC® panel, available in most thicknesses. Manufactured using lighter weight temperate hardwood throughout, and FSC® versions of the same attractive EV faces used in other Streply® products, Streply® Prime is the perfect choice for customers prioritising both value and environmental certification.

Streply® B/BB Premium Plywood FSC®
For customers requiring full Chain of Custody environmental certification alongside a higher density core we recommend our Streply® Premium FSC® range. Manufactured using 100% Chain of Custody certified temperate hardwood core sections and the attractive pink EV faces common to all the standard Streply® ranges, Premium FSC® is the perfect choice when environmental certification combined with a superior density core is specified.

Streply® Hexagon/Smooth Phenol Faced Plywood FSC®
All our phenol faced Streply® products are manufactured using 100% Eucalyptus temperate hardwood Chain of Custody FSC® core veneers, reflecting the demanding nature of many of the products potential applications. Streply® Hexagon pattern one side / smooth reverse plywood is designed for a range of applications including recreational facilities, van & trailer floors, scaffolding, loading platforms, stages and stands.

We supply an extensive range of plywoods from around the world. These include softwood plywoods from Chile and Finland and hardwood plywoods from Malaysia and Russia. We also cover marine grade plywood as well as film faced plywoods for special purposes.

WISA-SPRUCE PLYWOOD
A lightweight multi-purpose plywood manufactured in Finland. WISA-Spruce is an ideal panel for structural uses and load-bearing applications such as roofing, flooring and wall sheathing. It meets UK Building Regulations criteria and is FSC® environmentally certified. Smooth sanded faces and an aesthetic appeal also make it an ideal panel for furniture, joinery, and packaging and vehicle applications.

TULSA PLYWOOD
A 100% plantation grown Radiata Pine plywood from Chile. Faced plywoods such as Medium Density Overlay (MDO) and Film are produced for use in concrete formwork applications whilst un-faced panels, available in several face grades, are CE compliant for use in construction and building uses. All Tulsa products are FSC® environmentally certified.

ELLIOTTIS PINE PLYWOOD
Plantation grown species from Brazil, Elliottis Pine plywood is available in a range of thicknesses and grades suitable for a multitude of uses from construction to packaging, furniture to site hoarding. FSC® environmental certification and CE compliant products for permanent use in construction are also available at additional cost(s).

LUMIN PLYWOOD
A Uruguayan Eucalyptus and Pine plywood aimed at both the appearance and structural end user markets. FSC® environmentally certified and also CE compliant for permanent use in construction applications.

STREPINE® C+/C Blue Edged Pine Faced Plywood
Strepine® is a general purpose panel with single piece clear pine faces and a plantation sourced temperate core. Easily recognisable with its distinctive blue edges and known for its flatness and stability in use.

Сырье — отходы деревообрабатывающего производства (опилки, стружка, измельченное дерево), древесный шпон хвойных или лиственных сортов.

Виды
Древесно-плитные материалы делятся по категориям в зависимости от способа изготовления, технических характеристик, сферы применения. Есть следующая классификация древесных материалов:

Фанера — многослойные листы из хвойного или лиственного шпона. Он укладывается перпендикулярно волокнам и проклеивается специальными клеевыми средствами. От их состава зависит экологичность, влагостойкость и сфера применения плит. Фанера выпускается во множестве исполнений. Используется в строительстве, мебельном производстве. Из нее делают предметы обихода, обустраивают спортивные и игровые площадки, применяют в вагоно- и судостроении, а также в иных сферах.
Ламинированная фанера — фанера с наружными слоями из шпона березы и внутренними слоями из шпона березы или других лиственных пород древесины, облицованная пленкой на основе термореактивных полимеров. Фанера березовая ламинированная применяется в строительной промышленности, авто-, вагоно-, контейнеростроении, при изготовлении упаковки.
МДФ — листы, сделанные из среднеплотных измельченных древесных волокон. Они спрессовываются под мощным давлением, что придает плитному материалу из древесины дополнительную прочность. При производстве не используются фенолсодержащие, а также прочие токсичные смолы, клеевые составы, добавки. Поэтому листы МДФ экологически безопасны. Это позволяет использовать их внутри помещений, включая детские и медицинские учреждения.
ЛМДФ — это МДФ с ламинированной поверхностью. Такие плиты эффектно выглядят, дополнительно защищены от внешних воздействий (влажность, температурные перепады, попадание жиров, солей, иных веществ). Поверхность устойчива к ультрафиолету, почти не выцветает.
ДВП — листы, изготовленные из размолотого древесного материала. Их пропитывают синтетическими смолами, влагостойкими добавками, антисептиками, канифолью, антипиренами. У ДВП невысокая цена, хорошие теплоизоляционные свойства. Они экологически безопасны, прочны, удобны в обработке и применении, складировании, транспортировке.
ДСП — плиты, изготовленные из мелкой стружки, опилок. Производятся методом горячего прессования с применением клеевых компонентов на основе синтетических компонентов, смол, иных добавок. Устойчивы к биологическим воздействиям (грибку, плесени). Уязвимы к влаге, поэтому используются в помещениях с низким или стандартным уровнем влажности. Повсеместно применяются в строительстве, производстве недорогой мебели.
ЛДСП — это ДСП с ламинированной поверхностью. Они лучше защищены от внешних воздействий, поэтому сфера применения шире. Из таких плит делают, например, кухонные столешницы, мебельные фасады. Их разрешено использовать в помещениях с повышенной влажностью. Такие древесно-плитные пиломатериалы декорируются под натуральное дерево, природный или искусственный камень, металл, мрамор, иные поверхности. Благодаря этому они смотрятся намного дороже своей фактической стоимости.
Листовые древесные материалы различаются по вариантам исполнения. Есть сорта с повышенной влагостойкостью, с защитой от возгорания, неуязвимые к воздействию агрессивных сред, повышенной прочности, и пр.

Преимущества пиломатериалов
Плиты из древесины востребованы в строительстве, отделке, сельском и жилищно-коммунальном хозяйстве, мебельном производстве. Из них делают рекламные конструкции, двери и перегородки, строительные леса, опалубку для заливки бетонных растворов, строят быстровозводимые конструкции (павильоны, киоски, бытовки). Прочие преимущества:

Практичность. С помощью древесно-плитных материалов можно за короткое время произвести отделку больших площадей.
Удобство в обработке. Плиты легко раскраиваются, сверлятся, крепятся, распиливаются на любые фрагменты, фиксируются на поверхности.
Возможность повторного применения после демонтажа конструкций, которые больше не нужны.
Прочность на излом, изгиб, растяжение. Стабильность технических характеристик на протяжении всей эксплуатации.

Product Description
Baltic Birch plywood is aesthetically pleasing on both the panel faces and edges. Manufactured with uniformly thick veneer wood, its multiply construction offers stability and strength.

These plywood panels have exceptional machining properties and are TSCA Title VI Compliant.

Grade BB Baltic Birch is characterized by occasional sound tight knots, but open knots and defects have been cut out and replaced with small ovular or round veneer patches before gluing. The veneer selected for the patches is of the same general color as the basic face veneer. Generally there are very few patches per face.

The ultraviolet (UV) cured finish provides a clean and highly durable clear coat.

Often referred to as Russian Birch, Baltic Birch is sourced from any number of nations surrounding the Baltic Sea.

KEYSTONE LININGS’s Birch plywood is a multi-layered plywood panel manufactured from 1.5mm thick layer that produces a panel of uniform appearance. It is produced from slow-growing plantation logs sourced across the northern hemisphere from Russia to Scandinavia. The slow growth produces layer that is close-grained and of a consistently high quality.

2440mm B/BB Multiply – Rotary

High quality rotary ply is used for the face and back of this plywood and it is constructed with multiple constructions. Multiple is a term used to describe that the plywood is produced with the same thickness layerss throughout resulting in a stable product that is also visibly appealing. Highly sought after for wall and ceiling applications where the plywood is clear finished to highlight its unique character.

KEYSTONE LININGS’s long band A/B Birch is the only long band 100% Birch Plywood available in Australia. The face and back are spliced rotary. The A face of the 1220mm sheet has a maximum of 6 leaves per face whilst the 1530mm sheet has a maximum of 8 leaves. These panels are suitable for clear finished wall and ceiling panels and all joinery applications where traditional cross-banded (4 x 8) panels would be used.

B/BB Birch Plywood is a premium-grade panel composed of thin birch veneer sheets (long grain) fused together with a durable B Bond adhesive. Its uniformly smooth surface and naturally light hue make it an excellent choice for various uses, such as furniture making, cabinetry, and general construction.

One of the key features of B/BB Birch Plywood is its versatility for painting, staining, laminating, or veneering. The B/BB grade indicates that the plywood has a B grade face and a BB grade back. This means that one side has a smooth, sanded finish with minimal imperfections (B Face) and the other may have more noticeable knots or other natural blemishes (BB Face).

Appearance grades of the Birch Plywood:

B (Premium Grade) Practically without defects. Discoloration is allowed up to 15% of the sheet surface, loose knots and knotholes sized up to 5mm are allowed up to 3 per m2

BB – Discoloration is allowed up to 70% of a sheet surface. Loose knots and open defects are patched, patches (plugs) should match surrounding grain direction and colour.

Applications: Furniture, cabinets, joinery, flooring, architectural features, wall paneling, decorative and structural applications, staircase, partitions.

Processing options: Birch Plywood can be stained, painted, oiled and waxed. It is suitable for CNC routing and printing HD images.

Plywood is a versatile, adaptable form of layered timber that provides many different solutions in the construction industry.

Marine Plywood
Marine Grade Plywood is a premium quality product made from selected wood species based on density, impact resistance and bending strength. It is ideal for boat building and construction work that faces high levels of moisture. Normally the faces are a mixed Hardwood and made to BS1088 Standards. (Australian Standards AS/NZ 2272 Hoop Pine to order POA) *See pricing on our separate page under” Marine Plywood”

Light Weight Gaboon (Okoume) Marine Plywood
Gaboon Marine Plywood is manufactured to BS 1088 Standard – the internationally recognized marine specification – using a WBP glue line. It is approximately 25% lighter than regular Marine Plywood. *See pricing on our separate page under” Marine Plywood”

Exterior Plywood
Exterior Plywood is manufactured for use in exterior applications, especially where a high-quality aesthetic finish is required. We stock varieties such as Hoop Pine and a Mixed Hardwood Species.

*All plywood used outside must be coated with an approved exterior finish to all surfaces and edges* Always use light colours to reflect the heat and avoid dark colours that absorb the heat and lead to the timber drying and cracking.

Jumbo Size Exterior & Interior Plywood.
This quality exterior & interior B/BB grade plywood is manufactured specifically for jobs that require a larger than normal sheet size. These sheets are manufactured as a painting grade but can also be cleared finished or stained depending on the look you are after. *See pricing on our separate page under” Exterior Plywood”

Birch Plywood
Birch timber is a slow growing species found in the snow capped forests across Russia and most of Northern Europe in particular countries bordering the Baltic region. This frigid climate encourages close grained and consistent high quality timber. Made to European standards, today Birch is recognised as the premium plywood choice and is preferred by Architects, Designers, Planners, Builders and Engineers for multiple design applications including commercial and domestic furniture and joinery. Birch’s properties are highly appreciated in industries where special strength and durability of a material is required. The standard thickness of each veneer that makes up the core is 1.4mm which produces a highly engineered panel offering superior stability and product integrity along with a beautiful featured multi-layered edge if left exposed.

* All our Birch Plywood has 1 face free from patches (we call this the A side) but will have natural features such as pin knots, resin veins etc. The backs of the sheets may also have the odd Birch patch (we call this the B side) The grain direction in our Birch always runs the length of the sheet. Most clients tend to clear finish the plywood to highlight the timbers natural and varied characteristics including the multi-layered edges.

Formwork Plywood
“Formply” is made of a high-density overlay paper bonded to plywood. This overlay helps protect the face veneer and provides a sound surface for poured concrete. This product carries a structural rating and in most cases one face is stamped as such. Often used in joinery work for that industrial look in kitchens, cafes, furniture etc

Slip Resistant Plywood
Slip resistant plywood is perfect for high traffic areas where safety is paramount. Similar in appearance to Formply but with a Hex angle pattern or similar on one side to reduce slip.

Shadowclad (Grooved or Un-grooved, Primed or Un-Primed)
Shadowclad is an exterior structural plywood that works as an all-in-one decorative cladding and bracing material. It’s available in a textured finish and is treated with a preservative to provide long-term protection against decay.

Wall and Ceiling Panels
We can supply a Radiata Pine plywood with grooves spaced 100mm apart running down the length of the sheets, giving a similar effect to v’ jointed lining boards. These sheets come in their natural state with a “B” Grade face veneer and can be painted or stained. They’re also manufactured with a marine glue, making them ideal for areas with a high moisture content.

Polyester Faced Plywood
Polyester Plywood is a work of art, from the mixture of compounds to the end product. It is all painstakingly created, step by step to give you a perfect product. Each piece of polyester plywood goes through a process of application of polyester resin, rolling, spreading of the polyester resin, curing and finally cutting. Polyester coating makes the surface of the product very hardy. It provides a scratch and water resistant surface.

Each piece of polyester plywood goes through strict quality inspection before packing.

Technical Information
Plywood is made by coating a layer of unsaturated polyester resin over the panel. Unsaturated polyester resin in its original solid form carries all the advantages of being scratch, heat, water and chemical resistant. It is a lightweight coating material that can withstand extreme changes in temperature.

Stress Grade F17/F14, F22/F14, F27/F22

Armourply “The world’s strongest plywood” is manufactured using plantation and regrowth eucalypt veneers. Manufactured under the PAA/JAS-ANZ third party audited quality control program to Australian Standard AS2271, it is designed, tested and approved to tolerate extremes of heat and humidity and to resist shrinkage. Its tolerance of changes in ambient temperature and its toughness make Armourply hardwood ideal as flooring for hard-wearing areas, and is ideal for mezzanine floors.

In unexposed applications, such as internal flooring, the structural properties of Armourply hardwood ply far exceed any other plywood product manufactured in Australia.

When used as an engineered flooring panel for industrial and commercial applications, loading requirements are in accordance with Australian Standard AS/NZS1170.1 SAA Loading Code Part 1 Dead and Live Loads and Load Combinations.

Thickness (mm): 15, 18, 21 (Others may be available on request)

Quality material and great service
So far i’ve really enjoyed getting most of my ply from Plyco, the latest Birch ply I bought we very high quality and I was very happy with the results, also the way the staff helped out with interest in my project as well as loading and making the process seamless. I think their rates are a little bit higher compared to your big chain hardware store, but with that, you get a supieier product and a much wider range of options so it’s more than fair

Simply the best quality ply
I have yet to find anywhere else in Australia that produces Baltic birch ply anywhere near Plyco’s quality. The staff are very helpful and many products are manufactured in Melbourne. It doesn’t get any better than that.
